Study with the Maia Quartet

The Maia Quartet has been the Quartet-in-Residence at the University of Iowa since 1999 where it has fostered a thriving chamber music environment. As part of its residency, the Quartet teaches weekly lessons, studio classes, chamber music coachings, chamber music seminars, individual instruction on chamber music repertoire, as well as numerous other classes. Students are given regular performance and master class opportunities in conjunction with their work with members of the Maia Quartet. Chamber music master classes have included guests such as David Finckel, Joel Krosnick and Andre-Michel Schub. The Maia Quartet also offers an annual competition each year where the winner has the opportunity to collaborate and perform with the Quartet on a public concert at the University of Iowa.
